Once we receive your order, it will be carefully prepared for shipping via common carrier.

Free shipping applies to the items as indicated on our website which are $250 in price or above and is limited to heating and cooling equipment shipped to the continental United States ONLY. Additional shipping fees apply to orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Canada.

A common freight carrier will deliver your order to your home or office. The driver is responsible for delivering the freight to the tailgate of the freight truck. If you need assistance with unloading, a lift gate truck can be requested for an additional charge to place the freight on the ground behind the freight truck (charges vary depending on location). Once it is offloaded from the freight truck, you are responsible for moving the freight to its final location.

Generally we ship all equipment within 3 to 7 business days. Items not in stock or requiring special order will take 10 to 15 days or longer.

All orders are shipped fully insured as occasional damage can occur. Equipment order shipped common carrier are F.O.B., Orlando, Fl or the originating shipping point as determined by AC Overstock. You must carefully inspect your equipment at the time of delivery with the driver present, as the carriers will not accept damage or shortage claims without a notation on the delivery receipt that damage or a shortage exists.

Once an order leaves our shipping dock it officially becomes the property of the consignee with all obligations attached. In no event shall AC Overstock be responsible for damage incurred once the order leaves our facility. We will assist in the claims process for damage noted at the time of delivery providing the customer submits a copy of the noted freight bill with the delivering drivers' signature to AC Overstock. In the case of severe damage noted at delivery, AC Overstock will, at its sole discretion, file a claim with the carrier for the value of the damage or replace the damaged item. All determinations of repair value by AC Overstock shall be final unless additional information is supplied to us that were not previously submitted by the customer. Damage not noted by the consignee at the time of delivery will in no way alter any previous agreements between the customer and AC Overstock, regardless of value. In the case of damage not noted at delivery, concealed or otherwise, our sole liability shall be to assist the customer in obtaining a claim form to be filed with carrier.

In the event that you receive your order with evident damage, immediately inspect it to determine if it is cosmetic or severe enough to affect the system performance. If the damage is only cosmetic in nature, you may accept the delivery and we will provide you with an estimate to repair the damage along with a carrier claim form for reimbursement. In the event that the damage is severe, simply refuse the damaged portion and we will immediately ship a replacement at no charge to you.Claims for damage must be submitted in writing to either AC Overstock or the delivering carrier within 10 calendar days from the date of delivery to be considered for reimbursement. Claims initiated after 10 days will not be considered or assisted by AC Overstock.Orders shipped outside of the state of Florida are non-taxable. Florida residents please add 6.5% or sales tax percentage for your location.

All products must be installed according to manufacturer's installation instructions and safety guidelines by a licensed professional or all manufacture warranties will be void. All work must be done according to local building, electrical and mechanical codes. Wear proper safety equipment when installing. Improper installation of products or improperly servicing a furnace can cause serious injury or death. You should not attempt to install a furnace system yourself. Contact your local heating and air conditioning contractor for help. You agree to not hold responsible AC Overstock, its partners, the product manufacturers or any other providers of your purchased items for any damages, liability or legal litigation for any consequences, damages or injury that results from improper use or installation.

Thank you for your order! Please clearly understand the following important policies:

• You are responsible for your final product selection, regardless of recommendations made to you. You must ensure your products are the correct size, model, efficiency, and comply with local building, electrical and mechanical codes.

• Your products may arrive separately. The freight company will call you to schedule delivery. You must be available to sign your delivery receipt. The delivery receipt is a legal, binding document. When you sign the receipt clear, you are acknowledging that you are taking ownership of the correct number of pallets with no damage to the packaging or products.

• If your order has already been shipped from our warehouse (proof with tracking number and Bill of Lading) and you then decide to cancel your order or attempt to reverse your credit card charges and you refuse receipt of your shipment by any reason other than visible damage, you will be required to pay a 15% restocking fee PLUS actual shipping charges from and back to our warehouse located in Orlando, FL.

• Any orders being paid for by check are subject to a 10 day hold before processing your order for shipment. (10 business days) Order will be shipped on or shortly after 10th business day providing check clears our business account. YOU ARE LIABLE FOR DAMAGE OR SHORTAGES NOT NOTED AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY.

• Upon receipt of your shipment, please inspect each carton and piece of equipment on the pallet. o Count the number of pallets. Make sure that your count matches the piece count on the delivery receipt. o Look for any damage to the packaging. Damage to the packaging includes: + Broken pallets + Shrink wrap that is falling off, missing, slightly torn or has holes + Cardboard with small creases, dents or tears + Missing or crushed "no stack" cones, or + Missing theft-prevention tape - This is brightly-colored tape or zig-zag tape that should be on outside of shink wrap. o Inspect underneath any packaging with damage, no matter how slight the damage.

HOW TO SIGN THE DELIVERY RECEIPT:

Sign CLEAR, only if

* the pallet count is correct, * the packaging is in excellent condition, and the * the products are in excellent condition.

Sign DAMAGED, if

* the packaging shows any signs of wear (include a description), * the No Stack cone is missing or crushed, * the product(s) are not in excellent condition (include a description).

Sign WRAP BROKEN, if

* the shrink wrap shows signs of wear, is torn, missing or was replaced during transit, or * the theft-prevention tape is missing or torn.

Sign SHORT, if

* the pallet count on the delivery receipt does not match the number of pallets you receive.

* If you receive a piece of equipment with cosmetic damage, take delivery of it after noting the damage on the delivery receipt. You will receive a cash settlement to compensate. If you receive a unit with severe damage, refuse the damaged item. Document the delivery receipt with the reason for refusal. Always take delivery of undamaged products, even if they are on the same pallet as a damaged product.

* When receiving an air conditioner or heat pump, it is normal for there sometimes to be oil on or inside the unit or packaging. This is due to the manufacturing process, and does not mean the unit is leaking or damaged.

* We offer free commercial and residential freight shipping. Liftgate service is NOT included, but can be arranged for a $75 fee. Should you decide to return your equipment purchase for personal reasons, shipping fees to and from your location will be deducted from your refund. Please see our Return Policy for more information.
